What an incredible school year! It seems like we’ve been here longer than 9 months. So much has happened in this short amount of time.
We started gymnastics January 15th of 2018 at the Chelsea Community Center with less than 20 on opening day. Once we hit about 30 gymnasts, I brought an assistant on board. By spring, we grew to a steady 40 and stayed at the Community Center through July.
In August, I signed a lease, moved equipment from several locations, set up, and hosted our first open house after our ribbon cutting ceremony.

We enthusiastically started classes in September with 42 gymnasts! And I had one assistant, Julianna, who joined me in March at the community center. By the end of the month, we had over 60 gymnasts!

And in October, I welcomed two more assistants, Miss Sara and Miss Meredith. We also made our first appearance at Boo-Palooza in Chelsea where we had fun and met many from our community in addition to making the newspaper.
We held steady through the holidays and hosted a birthday party and several special groups, enjoyed some free play while school was out, and had a holiday party with gifts for the gym. Plus, we had tons of fun in the Chelsea Christmas Parade.
We kicked off January with the unprecedented growth of 28 new gymnasts! It was a crazy exciting month as we also celebrated our first birthday since starting classes with a big, fun party.

In February, we added another instructor, Miss Ali, as two of them transitioned out of the gym.
We started March with professional photos of our adorable gymnasts and staff. It was a really fun event and everyone posed exceptionally well!
April was a very busy month. We all worked hard so Parents Preview Week would be a great success, and it was! Everyone packed into the gym to see their favorite gymnasts show off all their wonderful skills small and large.

Unexpectedly, we took off May so I could have ankle surgery from the sprain I got 2 days before moving into our new space back in August.
After being off a month, we were diving back into a full summer starting in June with summer classes and gymnastics camp (and swim lessons).
Here’s a summary of our super exciting school year!
Have a great and successful day!
Sincerely,
