All classes meet once per week excluding holidays and school closures unless otherwise informed. Tuition has been calculated based on the number of days we meet each month. We follow the Shelby county school calendar.

Class Descriptions

Parent and Tot Gymnastics Ages Walking to 4 years of age

Class Length: 30 minutes

This gymnastics class is for children walking up to age 4 accompanied and guided by a trusted adult in class. The early years are best for bonding and nurturing your child. They benefit from an adult’s presence as they watch and learn from you. They look to you for guidance, reassurance, and safety. The focus of this class is a safe introduction to gymnastics. I strive to help you and your child excel while being safe and still having fun.

Gymnastics offers many benefits from learning your own balance and agility to strengthening fine motor skills, muscles, coordination, flexibility, self-awareness, confidence, goals, striving for achievements, and focus. Being with your child while exploring all of these benefits builds the happiness, confidence, and reassurance of your relationship because your child is in a positive environment approved by you, and that’s important to them developmentally, emotionally, and physically. So, sign up and join us for lots of exploration and learn safe ways to help your child succeed.

Preschool Gymnastics Ages 3-4

Class Length: 40 minutes

Skill Level Beginner includes:

  • Floor: forward rolls, backbends, handstands, cartwheels, jumps, leaps, spins
  • Beam: mounting, balancing, walking, jumping, dismounting
  • Vault: squats and straddles
  • Bars: front supports, casting, swinging, monkey swing, skin the cat, strength training

This gymnastics class is for children ages 3 to 4. Your child will learn safe ways to perform basic gym and acro skills on the floor, balance beam, vault, and bars while acquiring a better sense of balance and agility along with flexibility, strength, and endurance. It’s a great introduction to class without Mommy and creates a strong foundation for future development.

Beginner Ages 4-7

Class Length: 50 minutes

Skill Level Beginner includes:

  • Floor: forward rolls, backbends, handstands, cartwheels, backward rolls, jumps, leaps, spins
  • Beam: mounting, balancing, walking, jumps, turning, dismounts
  • Vault: squats, straddles
  • Bars: front supports, casting, skin the cat, strength training, pullover, back hip circle, straddle sole circle

These gymnastics classes are for children ages 4-7. Your child will learn safe ways to perform basic gym and acro skills on the floor, balance beam, vault, and bars while acquiring a better sense of balance and agility along with fine motor skills, flexibility, strength, and endurance. This is an excellent age for learning. Gymnastics promotes self-confidence and self-awareness among many other excellent mental, physical, and emotional benefits all of which create a strong foundation to build upon.

Intermediate Ages 4-7

Class Length: 50 minutes

Skill Level Intermediate includes:

  • Floor: connecting skills, walkovers, back extensions, straddle press handstands, leaps, spins
  • Beam: mounts, jumps, leaps, turns, dismounts, handstands, cartwheels
  • Vault: straddle overs, squat throughs, handstands
  • Bars: casting higher, strength training, pullover, back hip circle, straddle sole circle, front hip circle, single leg shoot through, cast squat on, glides, connecting skills

This gymnastics class is for children ages 4 to 7. Your child will progress safely through gym and acro skills on the floor, balance beam, vault, and bars while continuing to improve on a better sense of balance and agility along with coordination, flexibility, strength, and endurance. This is an excellent age for learning. Gymnastics promotes self-confidence and self-awareness among many other excellent mental, physical, and emotional benefits all of which continue to build on a strong foundation for future development.

Beginner Ages 8+

Class Length: 50 minutes

Skill Level Beginner includes:

  • Floor: forward rolls, backbends, handstands, cartwheels, round offs, jumps, leaps, spins
  • Beam: mounting, balancing, walking, turning, jumps, dismounts
  • Vault: squats, straddles, squat throughs, straddle overs
  • Bars: front supports, casting, skin the cat, strength training, pullover, back hip circle, straddle sole circle

This gymnastics class is for children ages 8 and up. Your child will learn safe ways to perform basic gym and acro skills on the floor, balance beam, and vault while acquiring a better sense of balance and agility along with coordination, flexibility, strength, and endurance. This age strives to achieve greatness on a personal level, learns about safe progressions, and begins setting personal goals. Gymnastics promotes self-confidence and self-awareness among many other excellent mental, physical, and emotional benefits all of which create a strong foundation to build upon in all aspects of life.

Intermediate Ages 8+

Class Length: 50 minutes

Skill Level Intermediate includes:

  • Floor: connecting skills, walkovers, back extensions, leaps, spins
  • Beam: mounts, jumps, leaps, turns, dismounts, handstands, cartwheels
  • Vault: straddle overs, squat throughs, handstands
  • Bars: casting higher, strength training, pullover, back hip circle, straddle sole circle, front hip circle, single leg shoot through, cast squat on, glides, connecting skills

This gymnastics class is for children ages 8 and up. Your child will progress safely through gym and acro skills on the floor, balance beam, vault, and bars while continuing to improve on a better sense of balance and agility along with coordination, flexibility, strength, and endurance. This age strives to achieve greatness on a personal level, learns about safe progressions and recognizing current limits, and sets personal goals. Gymnastics promotes self-confidence and self-awareness among many other excellent mental, physical, and emotional benefits all of which create a strong foundation to build upon in all aspects of life.

Beginner Ages 12+

Class Length: 50 minutes

Skill Level Beginner includes:

  • Floor: forward rolls, backbends, handstands, cartwheels, round offs, jumps, leaps, spins
  • Beam: mounting, balancing, walking, jumps, dismounts
  • Vault: squats, straddles, squat throughs, and dismounts
  • Bars: front supports, casting, skin the cat, strength training, pullover, back hip circle, straddle sole circle

This gymnastics class is for children ages 12 and up. Your child will learn safe ways to perform basic gym and acro skills on the floor, balance beam, vault, and bars while acquiring a better sense of balance and agility along with coordination, flexibility, strength, and endurance. This age learns more about taking care of their bodies and staying healthy along with goal setting and self-guided discovery. Gymnastics promotes self-confidence and self-awareness among many other excellent mental, physical, and emotional benefits all of which create a strong and well-rounded self with good discipline in all aspects of life.

Intermediate Ages 12+

Class Length: 50 minutes

Skill Level Intermediate includes:

  • Floor: connecting skills, walkovers, back extensions, leaps, spins
  • Beam: mounts, jumps, leaps, turns, dismounts
  • Vault: straddle overs, squat throughs, handstands
  • Bars: casting higher, strength training, pullover, back hip circle, straddle sole circle, front hip circle, single leg shoot through, cast squat on, glides, connecting skills

This gymnastics class is for children ages 12 and up. Your child will progress safely through gym and acro skills on the floor, balance beam, vault, and bars while continuing to improve on a better sense of balance and agility along with coordination, flexibility, strength, and endurance. This age learns more about taking care of their bodies and staying healthy along with goal setting and self-guided discovery. Gymnastics promotes self-confidence and self-awareness among many other excellent mental, physical, and emotional benefits all of which create a strong and well-rounded self with good discipline in all aspects of life.

Advanced Ages 4+

Class Length: 50 minutes with Optional Additional 40 minutes

Skill Level Advanced includes:

  • Floor: connecting skills, handsprings, tucks, aerial cartwheels, leaps, and spins
  • Beam: mounts, cartwheels, walkovers, handsprings, jumps, leaps, turns, and dismounts
  • Vault: handstands and handsprings
  • Bars: glide kips, mill circles, clear hips, and cast to handstands

This gymnastics class is for children ages 4 and up. You must have certain skills to enroll in this class. Additional 40-minute class available. Your child will progress safely through more challenging gym and acro skills on the floor, balance beam, bars, and vault while continuing to improve balance and agility along with coordination, flexibility, strength, and endurance. This class focuses on advancing current skills, learning more complex skills, connecting skills, refining shape and technique, and learning routines. Gymnastics promotes self-confidence and self-awareness among many other excellent mental, physical, and emotional benefits.

Boys Gymnastics Ages 5+

This gymnastics class is for children ages 5 years and up. Your child will learn safe ways to perform basic gym and acro skills on the floor, bar, rings, vault, parallel bars, pommel horse, and training mushroom while acquiring a better sense of balance and agility along with fine motor skills, flexibility, strength, and endurance. This is an excellent age for learning. Gymnastics promotes self-confidence and self-awareness among many other excellent mental, physical, and emotional benefits all of which create a strong foundation to build upon.

Skill Level Beginner includes:

Floor: forward rolls, back bends, handstands, cartwheels, jumps, leaps, and spins
Rings: balancing, stabilizing, and holding various positions
Vault: squats, straddles, and dismounts
Parallel Bars: Strength, stability, pike, straddle
Training Mushroom: Circling, swinging, and core body strength

Horizontal Bar: Pullover, casting, back hip circle, straddle sole circle

Tumbling Ages 4+

Class Length: 50 minutes

Skill Levels

Beginner: forward & backward rolls, back bends, handstands, cartwheels, and jumps
Intermediate: dive rolls, limbers, walkovers, round offs, jumps, and connecting skills
Advanced: walkovers, handsprings, tucks, layouts, jumps, and connecting skills

This tumbling class will start out as tumbling for ages 4 years and up and all skill levels. This class is for anyone and may be of more interest to those acquiring skills for cheerleading and dance. Your child will learn safe ways to perform basic gym and acro skills on the floor only while acquiring a better sense of balance and agility along with fine motor skills, flexibility, strength, and endurance. This is an excellent time for learning. Gymnastics, including tumbling, promotes self-confidence and self-awareness among many other excellent mental, physical, and emotional benefits all of which create a strong foundation to build upon.

Cheer Clinic and Tumbling Ages 5+

Class Length: 50 minutes

All Skill Levels Welcome

Let’s get cheer ready! This class focuses on developing and growing cheerleaders. In addition to working on tumbling, we build all the components needed for cheering including but not limited to cheer form, timing, voice, persona, expression, jumps, dancing, and stunting.

Adult Gymnastics Ages 18+ Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced

Class Length: 50 minutes

This gymnastics class is for adults of any age. You learn safe ways to perform basic gym and acro skills on the floor, balance beam, bars, and vault while acquiring a better sense of balance and agility along with flexibility, strength, and endurance. This is an excellent time to invest in yourself. Gymnastics provides excellent mental, physical, and emotional benefits all of which help us thrive as we age. Many of us do not have physically-demanding jobs, so our muscles are not fully engaged, which leads to more accidental injuries and weaker cores and extremities. The phrase “use it or lose it” is true, so join us for full-body engagement to enjoy a better daily life physically, mentally, and emotionally making your future brighter than ever before.

We will move at your own pace through skills and progressions beginner to advanced as needed.

Inclusive Gymnastics Ages 4+

Class Length: 50 minutes

All Skill Levels Welcome

Our inclusive gymnastics class helps individuals with additional daily challenges move and develop in fun and safe ways teaching progressions and gymnastics at their pace. We strive to provide quality gymnastics instruction to each person, child through adult, in our gym. Often mentioned as special needs, this class will help each child grow and develop while offering fun, safe, and enjoyable physical activity that will be enjoyed yet challenge them. The skill level is beginner and will grow from there. As with every individual in our gym, any physical, mental, or emotional limitations can be met with alternatives to help them continue to grow, thrive, and achieve great things.

Ninja Gymnastics Ages 4+

Class Length: 50 minutes

This quick-paced class is for girls and boys of any skill level. They learn some basic gymnastics and incorporate lots of running, jumping, swinging, climbing, bouncing, rolling, and more while they improve their agility, speed, balance, strength, reaction time, coordination, and flexibility. We use our gymnastics equipment for both traditional and non-traditional gymnastics activities, which is half the fun.

Open Gym

Class Length: 50 minutes

This gymnastics class is for those who want more time practicing certain skills without instruction. Each student is responsible for proper stretching, safe practices, and working within his or her own skill limits. This is not a time to try new skills or take unnecessary risks, rather improve upon and perfect skills the students already know and perform. Basic progressions may be a part of this open gym time but only at the advisement of instructors and comfort level of the students.

Those who can attend:

  • Gymnasts in a class with a parent
  • Gymnasts ages 6+ in intermediate and advanced classes
  • Gymnasts ages 8+ any skill level
  • Teens and adults

Free Play

Class Length: 60 minutes

This unstructured time in the gym allows for creative play and movement. Children learn best through hands-on play. Giving them the freedom to make decisions and explore in a safe and supervised environment allows them to build all of their developmental skills physically and mentally. This includes fine motor and gross motor skills. Safety measures and basic rules are in place to ensure everyone stays safe. Certain equipment requires instructor assistance and is closely monitored.

We offer Spanish, Sign Language, Music, and Theatrical classes and we’d love to add core subjects and other classes in the event any teachers are looking for part-time opportunities.
