Do you remember the pouring rain we had for a few days after the new year? I bet you were home in your PJs warm and cozy enjoying the last of the holiday break. That’s what I wanted to be doing anyway.
That Thursday Chris and I drove 5 hours round trip in the foggy, low visibility, flooding, and pouring rain to drop off our children with family in northeast Alabama.
The next day we hit the road for an 11 hour round trip to South Carolina in the pouring rain where we picked up some boy equipment. We brought back a floor pommel and a pommel horse complete with handles. Yay!
Of course it went straight to storage to hang out with my other gymnastics equipment that we can’t use yet, but I’m very happy to have it ready and waiting for our next space.
Whew! I’m glad that trip is behind us and even more glad to have useful equipment waiting on us. And the boys aren’t the only ones who will benefit from it as we’ll use them for various drills and conditioning too.
