Multifunctional Gymnastics Equipment at Home

This is what I’m talking about! Many of you have mentioned you’ve got gymnastics equipment around your house, and that’s great! I love to hear gymnasts are active outside of the gym, but how else can you increase the utilization of that gymnastics equipment? Do you ever sneak a turn walking on the beam? Do you think about it or wonder what you could do on that bar? There’s no reason not to, but what if you targeted your use a little farther and considered using that equipment to work out?

Tumbl Trak actually has done all the hard work for you. Here you’ll find a list of exercises for the balance beam and the bar. Give it a try! You might just surprise yourself. And there’s very little risk keeping you safe while you try it. It’s a great way to mix things up.

Even better, make it a family event with stations and rotate every couple of minutes. Everyone will enjoy it! And your gymnast will love seeing everyone using it.

Give it a try. Did you enjoy acclimating to the balance beam? Were you a little dizzy? That’s common when your brain isn’t used to it. Usually, the more you do it, the more it goes away. The same is true for being upside down, so give it some time and try it in small doses as you build up. Of course, get clearance from your doctor, especially if you have certain conditions that might make it more challenging.

And remember, there’s a place in my gym for adults, so feel free to join our class for a short window of time weekly dedicated to helping you increase your longevity by nurturing and building your health, mind, and body.

Tell me. What are your favorite ways to use gymnastics equipment at your home? Better yet, come show us at the gym!

Have a great and successful day!

Sincerely,
