First Day Back for Monday Classes

It was the last day of our first week back, and it was fantastic!

In the morning, we kickstarted our Monday classes with some amazing preschoolers! They all started in classes with Mom and now are so independent and gaining confidence with every class they come to. Plus, they are excellent listeners and try hard. Their behavior, for toddlers, is stellar! πŸ™ŒπŸ»

Sarah has been with us since the Community Center and it really shows! Her strength, coordination, timing, and balance have come so far already. Check out her cartwheel, squat vault, and high kicks on balance beam. πŸ‘πŸ»

They all started with nice forward rolls, too!

Milah really impressed me today, too. She did an awesome squat vault! πŸ™ŒπŸ» It was her first by herself. Her confidence has come a long way, not to mention her strength and power.

And here she is staying on the balance beam.

Bars went very well for them and I’m excited about the skills we’ll be doing in the near future.

Scarlett had her very first day of class without Mom and did excellent! She tried things by herself and demonstrated growing confidence and strength. Here she is on beam showing she’s got this while doing her high kicks.

We welcomed back two moms and a gymnast along with a younger sibling and a new family on Monday morning. They were real troopers and did a great job!

In the afternoon, we had a great group of tumblers who gave it their all and made great progress on Day 1. This class includes a few previous gymnasts who have grown tremendously and some new friends, as well. Morgan, on the left, was quite the athlete on her first day back in the gym. I’m excited to see this group progress and look forward to catching some video! πŸ™ŒπŸ»

Then we had open gym and these two got lots of practice on all the equipment.

Zachary has almost mastered his squat through on vault. πŸ‘πŸ» He worked several bar skills too as did Victoria who is real close to mastering her back hip circle.

Zachary’s strength on parallel bars continues to impress me. Currently, he has the highest cast on the single rail bar and parallel bars, which we just started.

We did a little training for pommel horse too.

Victoria made most of her progress on beam, where she’s mastering her half turn. πŸ‘πŸ»

To close out the evening, we had more moms and toddlers in the gym. Scarlett was our leader as everyone else was experiencing gymnastics for the first time. We were thrilled to meet new friends! πŸ€—

Everyone is off to a great start! They did very well working together on everything. I can’t wait to see everything they’ll learn this year!

If you’re thinking about gymnastics for your children, check us out! We see amazing growth and development every day in our gym as we strive to enrich your children’s lives, equip them with life skills, and guide them towards success. The best part is these things are acquired through their own self discovery as they become more independent, confident, and motivated to become better gymnasts all while having lots of fun!

And for those of you enjoying our gymnastics programs already, thank you for being a part of our SB Gym family! We love working with your children and helping them discover themselves. They truly are blessings.

Have a great and successful day!

Sincerely,

Sara Beth Signature
