Ages 8+ Skill Progress

I’m overdue for some skill progress updates with the older kids. They are so dedicated and work really hard and they definitely deserve a little recognition. While I’ve still got lots to capture, help me celebrate these awesome accomplishments in the Ages 8+ class. I kid you not, gymnasts keep me excited about their progress all the time!

New to gymnastics this year, Wyatt did great completing his forward roll. He has several other skills he’s close to nailing, as well. Great job, Wyatt! πŸ‘πŸ»πŸŽ‰

Hadassah rocked her cartwheels on the floor beam all night long! Wow – those look great! Excellent work, Hadassah. πŸ‘πŸ»πŸŽ‰πŸ€ΈπŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

Julia did her pullover all by herself on bars again! That’s multiple classes she’s done it. I’m very proud of her accomplishment. It takes a lot of strength and some great timing. πŸ‘πŸ»πŸŽ‰

Next, check out Alexis’ front limber. She’s been close for a while but finally connected it last week. Congratulations, Alexis! You’re looking very strong. πŸ‘πŸ»πŸŽ‰

Addison, who’s also in this class, made some great progress while attending Open Gym, too. She excelled at her straddle over vault. Awesome work, Addison!πŸ‘πŸ»πŸŽ‰

She’s finally got her standing backbend, too, along with Alexis and Takera.

Plus, she’s working on connecting her front limber.

And, she’s down to just the crash mat for her kick over. That back walkover is just around the corner.

It’s always exciting to see what they’ll do next. If you see any of these kids, be sure to congratulate them on their newly mastered skills.

Have a great and successful day!

Sincerely,
