Proud of the Progress

This week was really phenomenal! We have great moments sprinkled throughout our classes pretty regularly, but I was so excited and blown away by so many individuals from tiny little toddlers to the big kids. It’s just so exciting in gymnastics right now!

Jocelyn rocked her casting on the bar!

Olivia Ann was quite the hotshot on the bar.

Olivia Ann, Lilla, and Beatrix did excellent front supports on the bar! That’s tough for the little ones. That’s exactly where we want the bar. Look at that strength!

They also did great getting their feet to the bar, which is quite the workout.

Caroline did her handstand and she’s in the Preschool Gymnastics with Mom class. πŸ‘πŸ» Check out that kick and balance! πŸŽ‰

In every class, I’ve noticed everyone is getting physically stronger, which is resulting in better skills. πŸ‘πŸ» I’ve also noticed a lot of bravery. You guys are rocking the balance beam. πŸ‘ŠπŸ» Plus, everyone’s vaults are getting bigger and more powerful. Hooray! Coordination is looking good, and great sportsmanship is developing. I’m just so happy that I had to share.

I got wrapped up in my intermediate class for ages 4 to 7 so I owe them some video. They’re doing back extensions, limbers, and walkovers with good form, and running skills plus handstand vaults, and tuck jumps and half turns on low beam.

Julia did her pullover on the bar all by herself this past week, and her back hip circle isn’t far behind. πŸ‘πŸ»πŸŽ‰

Plus, check out these one-handed cartwheels from our beginners ages 6-7. They’re progressing quite well!

We’ve worked a lot on building everyone’s strength, balance, and coordination, and I think it’s paying off.

The following is a lengthy video from this week. Some classes got great coverage while I’m really hoping to catch more of some classes in the near future.

Take it in. See what all the excitement is about. Your children are wonderful! And if you notice, they stay pretty busy the majority of class time. I love stations and letting them learn how to be independent, confident, strong, and courageous.

High-five your kids and tell them how proud you are. They deserve it! πŸ˜ƒ
