I have been wanting to shout out about this awesome piece of equipment I recently scored. It was on my wish list, but I knew it would be a long while before I could afford it. Nonetheless, I already had a spot saved for it in the new gym, which I haven’t announced yet.
We spent 4 days over Memorial weekend working at home in our back yard, which included prepping for a pool. Amidst that, I randomly stumbled across this awesome piece of equipment. I didn’t waste a second and contacted the owner immediately. I was in luck! My dad was visiting because of our backyard work, which meant he had a trailer to haul it. We quickly made plans to get it the next day.
This resi pit is a versatile piece we will use often including but not limited to at the vault, bars, and beam. It’s great to land in after a tough or new skill and perfect for vaulting and dismounts, as well as drills.
It measures 144x92x32 inches, so it’s no small thing, and I can’t wait to use it! Patience will be a virtue, though, because it’s waiting for us to relocate in August before it can be used.
Are you excited? I know I am. I’m practically counting the days until we can flip right into this pit. Whew!
